Ethan van Thillo is Founder and Executive Director of the Media Arts Center San Diego & San Diego Latino Film Festival. Since 1989, he’s curated 1000s of programs at festivals and/or special events across California, Mexico, the Southwest, and San Diego. Under the umbrella of MACSD, Ethan has developed & created innovative new community based media programs such as the California state-wide Digital Story Station initiative, Frontera Filmmakers, Teen Producers Project, Youth Media & Tech Camps, Mobile Stories, Speak City Heights, The People’s Post, Video Production Services Department, and the recent Digital Gym CINEMA community technology center and movie theater.

Ethan van Thillo es fundador y director ejecutivo del Media Arts Center San Diego y el Festival de Cine Latino de San Diego. Desde 1989, ha curado miles de programas en festivales y/o eventos especiales en California, México, el suroeste y San Diego. Bajo el paraguas de MACSD, Ethan ha desarrollado y creado nuevos e innovadores programas de medios basados en la comunidad, como la iniciativa Digital Story Station en todo el estado de California, Frontera Filmmakers, Teen Producers Project, Youth Media & Tech Camps, Mobile Stories, Speak City Heights, The People's Post, Departamento de Servicios de Producción de Video y el reciente Centro de tecnología comunitaria y sala de cine Digital Gym CINEMA.
