"Huelga"

The "Huelga" design which sits at the top of this pyramid is inspired by, "The Huelga Bird Flag".  The Huelga Bird flag was created by Cesar Chavez to give the striking farmer workers a symbol for their struggle. It is now an important symbol of the Chicano Cultural Movement.

El diseño "Huelga" que se encuentra en la parte superior de esta pirámide está inspirado en "La bandera del pájaro Huelga". La bandera Huelga Bird fue creada por Cesar Chavez para dar a los trabajadores campesinos en huelga un símbolo de su lucha. Ahora es un símbolo importante del Movimiento Cultural Chicano.
